Colors

Here comes the Locis that gives the colors for the Border Collie.

D - Loci

The Bigger Letters are alway Dominant and the small  letters reccessive. I have sorted all the Loci genes in the right order (Dominant to reccessive)

The First Litter is this what we see on the dog and the second letter is this what the dog carried.

 

here is a Example with the B Loci

 

BB + BB = BB BB BB BB = 100% BB

BB + Bb = BB Bb BB Bb = 50% BB 50% Bb

BB + bb = Bb Bb Bb Bb = 100% Bb

Bb + Bb = BB Bb Bb bb = 50% Bb 25% BB 25% bb

Bb + bb = Bb Bb bb bb = 50% Bb 50% bb

bb + bb = bb bb bb bb = 100% bb

 

the first Letter from the mother + the first letter from the father

the first Letter from the mother + the second Letter from the father

the second letter from the mother + the first Letter from the father

the second Letter from the mother + the second letter from the father

The dominante gene comes before the recessevie gene.
